Need to know & FAQ'sClasses are for ages 13 plus, with a choice of Godalming, Virtual Zoom or on Demand classes, so you can be anywhere and join us!
All classes MUST be prebooked and prepaid directly ( see our How to Book section) to ensure that there is space available for you, particularly in our live classes. We are very sorry but we will be unable to accept clients who arrive to a live class and have not pre-booked and prepaid for a class. You'll also need to fill out a Par Q form before your first studio, Zoom or On Demand class please. * What to bring? A big bottle of water to ALL classes please whether live in studio or in your own home on Zoom– you’ll need it. * Will my pelvic floor be strong enough for jumping on a rebounder? THIS IS THE MOST POPULAR QUESTION!!! So many of our JUMPCE participants HAVE HAD CHILDREN... we hear you! Don't compare these mini trampolines to larger bouncier garden trampolines, or ones your kids might jump on! These are far tauter and nowhere near as slack. This means it's not as much pressure on your pelvic floor. If you are really worried just wear a light pad the first time, that's VERY common. But what you will find is that over time this is a MASSIVE pelvic floor strengthener (twin Mum speaking here!) so please don't let that worry put you off! There are VERY FEW bodies that are unable to jump because of pelvic floor issue, and if so then that's usually a highly unusual medical condition and maybe from a very complicated birth, and in this case we really recommend speaking to your doctor. It would not be advisable to jump if you've had a prolapse or you are pregnant, It may be that you need a course of Pilates to strengthen your pelvic area first though. If this is a very serious issue for you and you'd like to discuss then please do use our CONTACT page here and we can discuss privately. Karen is a teen twin Mum and happy to chat pelvic floor issues with you before you book. * Can I come on my own? Yes of course! We are welcoming and friendly, we realise that not everybody has friends and family that want to do the same things, or are free at the same time! Maybe you are new to the area and would like to meet new people, if so please tell us, come and join us, and you'll find we are a friendly crew! MANY friendships have been made over the 12 years that I have been teaching classes in the community! We've even managed to have times where we've linked up our virtual crew to meet each other too which has been nice! Don't forget to fill out your Par-Q fitness form online and email to us before the first time you attend a class. And please read our online disclaimer if you're taking any class virtually with us! |
