About Jumpce!
Not only is Jumpce super-fun, it's also a really fantastic workout for your whole body! The mix of jumping and dancing on a trampoline is TONS of FUN and is good for MANY aspects of your body! Not just an exercise class!
Mini-trampolines can also be known as trampettes or rebounders, and this rebounding activity is well-known to improve circulation, increase the capacity of your heart and lungs, building strength and stamina, and boost your fitness levels all over. In our classes we use a mix of HIIT and energetic moves to maximise an effective fat burning workout in our main cardio section, and then we also use the pliable surface of the mat for core exercises to improve legs, bums and abs. If you come to classes regularly you will improve and firm your muscle tone around the legs, thighs, abdomen, hips and arms and will improve your co-ordination, agility, balance and physical strength! Rebounding and jumping improves weight loss up to 3 times quicker than floor-based aerobic workouts due to the opposing gravity and added g-force, and it’s remarkably gentle on the joints, due to the beneficial effects of gravity. The mat of the rebounder is used as a resistance tool. Jumping for health can be more effective for fitness and weight loss than cycling, running or jogging, with a soft landing for backs, knees and joints, and you can burn some serious calories in our 45 minute Jumpce classes! Don’t be nervous! You are in control and you can choose the intensity and level of bounce that suits your fitness and balance best. So we suggest you start with a low level bounce on the trampoline, then you can go for a workout with a higher pace when you feel more balanced and confident. Everyone can do this exercise at their own pace and jumping level, whilst gaining health results that are normally associated with higher impact aerobic classes. Studies by NASA scientists apparently suggest that jumping around on a rebounder is 68% more effective than jogging and yet requires less effort! – now there’s a fact!!! So what are you waiting for?
